:) I love greeting farm!
So...if you haven't noticed by now alot of my cards use TGF stamps. They're just so gosh darn cute! I'm going to work on making some cards with other stamps soon though. Perhaps next week?
This one was fun because I normally don't do distressing, because I don't feel that I can do it that well but I kind of like how this one turned out. I tried to make the background look like an old crumpled letter.
I like how I didn't have to color for this card, because honestly it just takes so much work to color. They always turn out so nice, but it takes so much longer to color AND make a card. ^^ This was a fun layout to tackle. I got to use up a bunch of scraps too, so that was good. I Just love that little bit of glitter paper I had left over for the small strip behind the image.
I made the flower out of a Martha Stewart leaf punch.
^^ Anyway ta ta until next time!

:) Woo boy it's been a while
For the past couple of weeks, my boyfriend had come to visit me. He went home for the summer, so it had been about 3 months since I have seen him. :) I was so excited, and we had such a good time doing tourist activities in Vancouver when he came.
O_O we took in excess of 500 photos while he was here. I'm such an asian :P
By the way, I totally neglected to mention some amazing candies I won in the past month or so. :) I wanted to post them and say thank you! ^^ I feel so utterly lucky! (Sorry I'm a bit late!)
^^ For my cousin's 37th birthday, I made him this card. He loves cars, and I put the crown on his head because everybody calls him a Princess. Honestly he totally is a princess :) but it's a joke and we mean it in a fun way.
I colored the images with Copic markers. I used dimensionals on pretty much everything there. I inked a dollar store stencil for the background swirly thing :) I thought it looked kinda cool. The cool star thing behind TGF Edward is a spellbinder. ^^ I really like this spellbinder. Lastly, I finished the inside with a strip along the side and once again inked the stencil.
Ta da :)

A very cheeky summery birthday!
=) Just finished this card, and I thought I would pop onto the computer to share. I absolutely adore pink & brown, so I thought I would make a summery birthday card. I quite like how it turned out! Unfortunately, the camera makes the pink look a bit dark, so it looks like purple but I promise it is a very hot pink!
I created the pink circular embellishment type thing with three strips of paper punched on one edge with the Cherish punch by Martha Stewart. I glued the three strips together and then accordion folded the whole length. Then you twist it into a circle and press down in the middle, and voila you have a gigantic circle embellishment thingy. I like these pleated circles, because they add huge dimension to your card. I attempted to show that in the pictures.
I actually really liked how the coloring came out on her ^^ I just love Copic coloring. It's so much fun! I'm quite partial to the anime style of coloring hair, so this is my attempt at it. I just love how her little feet are dangling in the air, too. The photos have kind of distorted her hair color to look like a kind of blonde. The hair is actually a dark brown. The 3rd photo shows the closest I could get them to come out.

So adorable in purple and orange
Sometimes I wish there was more time in the day. I have recently been focusing on building a 1000 piece Final Fantasy X puzzle, and I have consequently had very little time to make cards. Sadly, it has been a little over a month since I have actually made a card.
Without much further ado, I present to you a card I quite like that I made today. The image is from Deviant Art courtesy of Yampuff. :) SO ADORABLE, no? It's one of my favorites ^^. I used this clear wrapping paper type stuff for the dotted background. I tried out my new Martha Stewart punch too for the square behind the image. :) I love this punch, and I have been looking for it for so long. It is called Cherish. I love it! I also embossed the square that she is laying on just for that little added touch. I also tried out the Bow Easy :) It took some time for me to figure it out but I finally got it.

One Father's Day Card Down One to Go :)
I thought I would attempt the recessed window card last night. I realized as I was doing it that I didn't have a ruler, which posed quite a problem for trying to cut out the window. So, I kinda made my own ruler with a piece of paper and it worked out alright. ^^ Cutting the window was a bit of a pain but it was fun trying out this type of card.
I tried to keep it simple so that it would be masculine. I find making cards for men rather difficult. Is it me or are hand made cards just inherently girly? I found this coloring page online of a guy chilling in a hammock and taking a nap, and I thought it would be great for father's day. I used spellbinders to make the cutouts and an embossing folder that I thought made the background piece look like tress (I thought that was kinda cool ^^).
